Mackay Regional Council has an exciting opportunity for a qualified SCADA Engineer to join the Water Network team. This position will work as part of Water & Waste Services and manage the ongoing operations and maintenance of the SCADA network design and configuration to ensure efficient and effective operation of water and sewerage services in line with council objectives for the Water Network and Water Treatment teams. To be successful, you will have tertiary qualifications in Electrical/Control Engineering, extensive experience in SCADA, PLCs and Telemetry systems, demonstration project management and contract supervision experience and high level communication skills.
