Senior Management role in Australia’s leading Industry Association – Water Sector Lead and manage the implementation of a range of new IT & technology platforms Work with a really passionate team striving to have a positive impact on water sustainability The Australian Water Association is the national peak water organisation, delivering information, expertise and collaboration for sustainable water management. Our membership base is varied and we operate nationally with an active branch network across Australia. In this newly created role you are ultimately accountable for developing and effectively leading the implementation of improved IT and technology platforms across the Association nationally. This critical role forms part of our Senior Management team and will collaborate closely with the Chief Executive Officer and will be required to prepare Board papers to submit and present to the Board. Specifically, you will be responsible for designing and implementing a 3-year roadmap for IT and Technology upgrades and integration, including: Conducting a review of current software & hardware and providing recommendations to meet long term business requirements. Leading the transition from existing to new systems, including the Finance and Event Registrations systems, as well as creating a single intranet platform Facilitating the design and implementation of a new nationally consistent ‘document library’ Providing recommendations for an on-going CRM platform including assessing the current system, future database needs, alternative products, cost and benefit analysis. Managing the use and integration of all new technology across the Association, including managing the design and functionality of all websites, applications and other tech products. Managing all third-party contractors and suppliers of IT and Technology The Person 5-10 years’ experience in a similar senior IT and Technology management role Strong stakeholder management experience and the ability to lead and manage change effectively Experience in leading and implementing new IT and technology systems. Commercial acumen with proven P & L accountability Comfortable managing a budget with the ability to plan and forecast effectively Great communication and relating skills across all levels. Excellent time management, organisational and project management skills to manage financial and strategic performance Ability to lead, motivate, and manage staff Ability to prepare accurate and well-presented financial and management reports Absolute discretion and ability to maintain confidentiality The Culture Our employees have chosen to align their career with the Australian Water Association because we are really passionate about what we do.
