The objective of this position is to lead a team to deliver a designated infrastructure works program to time, cost and quality requirements and ensures City West Water’s vision of being an exceptional service provider that puts customers first and benefits the community is strengthened. This will be achieved by driving a culture within the Project Delivery Leadership Team that places customers first, focuses on high performance and develops our people.
Reporting to the Project Delivery Manager this position will require strong project, program and contract management skills, along with knowledge around construction, asset, environment and heritage, and safety management. An extensive level of engagement with internal and external customers and stakeholders will be required to ensure success in the role.
What you’ll bring to the role
Previous people leadership experience leading technical personnel, field personnel and contractors
Exceptional communications skills both verbal and written
Excellent relationship and stakeholder engagement skills and the ability to negotiate effectively at all levels within and outside the organisation
Strong program management skills, with knowledge of construction, maintenance workplaces and safety management
Experience in financial and budget management
Experience in working with regulators such as Work Safe, Environmental Protection Authority and local, state and federal government departments
Tertiary qualifications in engineering
