Student Engagement Program – a program for the industry to get involved and help develop our future Water Professionals

The Student Engagement Program is an Australian Water Association and Queensland Branch initiative that aims to assist Members to complete small projects by using undergraduate or postgraduate degree students who need to undertake a project as part of their studies.

Wannon Water is seeking a suitably skilled and experienced person to support the Asset Creation Branch in the permanent ongoing position of Dam Safety Programme Coordinator. The successful applicant will be required to coordinate and ensure that a suitable monitoring program for dam safety is set up and implemented, ensuring all ANCOLD guidelines are followed and to act on any dam safety issues that arise. Applicants who demonstrate and possess the following attributes would find this opportunity challenging and rewarding: Highly motivated and enthusiastic. Can work effectively in a team environment. Excellent interpersonal skills. Experience in dam safety management Relevant experience in the key areas set out in the position description. This position can be located in Warrnambool, Hamilton or Portland and offers a salary in the range of $74,766 to $81,288 p.a. plus 9.5% superannuation.
