Joining our team as Sewer Maintenance Engineer, you will lead the delivery of specialist services and inspire our technical teams to produce products and systems that help us become a vibrant and more progressive utility.  As an engineer with experience in the water industry, you will drive the performance of our sewerage network through innovative strategies to predict and prevent asset failure whilst effectively reacting to failures and emergencies when they do occur. You will ensure maintenance work undertaken on South East Water assets is done safely, in compliance with relevant standards and minimises any impact on key stakeholders, customers and the environment. Another key function of the role is to advise and support internal and external stakeholders on asset protection activities so access requirements are considered and damage to assets from construction work is prevented.   To be successful in this role, you will have an understanding of the asset lifecycle (design, construction, operations and maintenance) of sewerage networks with preferred knowledge in civil works associated with the sewer network including live sewer works, construction, maintenance, renewal and repair techniques.
