We maintain and improve council’s water and sewerage networks by optimising the useful life of assets and by adopting more efficient service delivery mechanisms in consultation with the community.    Council has 2 great opportunities for Senior Planning Engineers to join the Planning and Sustainability program in Water and Wastewater Services to help achieve this vision.   In this position, you will provide specialist technical and strategic advice on water infrastructure to key stakeholders. The 2 positions lead small teams with either a short term (1-3 yr) or long term (3+ strategic) focus.    To be successful, you will have Engineering tertiary qualifications, extensive experience in planning or asset management of water and sewer infrastructure, high level communication skills and project management experience.     Why work for Mackay Regional Council?
