IPART provides independent regulatory decisions and advice to protect the ongoing interests of the consumers, taxpayers and citizens of NSW.

The review process IPART’s credibility as an independent regulator and advisor relies on the rigour of our process, the effectiveness of our determinations and the impartiality of our recommendations.   The Tribunal & Executive team A government-appointed Tribunal of three permanent members, and occasionally temporary members, leads IPART. It is advised by a Secretariat of highly experienced economists, financial analysts, lawyers, engineers and other professionals.   Governance IPART is an independent authority established under the Independent Pricing and Regulatory Tribunal Act 1992. We report each year on our performance to the NSW Parliament.

We are located in the Sydney CBD, just a two minute walk from Central station.   About the role As a Senior Modeller/Analyst, your main task will be to produce the complex price and financial modelling used to set prices for monopoly services and other industry-based reviews. You will also be engaged in the delivery of strategic policy advice. We are seeking candidates with modelling experience in economics, finance, engineering or other relevant quantitative disciplines or equivalent demonstrated professional experience.
