As part of TasWater’s senior leadership team, you will provide dynamic and strategic leadership to the Service Optimisation Department, enabling the team to provide effective service, information, and optimisation opportunities to the Service Delivery division.
Lead and manage the Operations Control Centre, Maintenance Scheduling, Electrical and SCADA and Trade Waste Teams to achieve operational objectives.
Build, develop and coach teams and individuals to produce required business and customer outcomes.
Manage departmental finances and physical resources in liaison with relevant corporate support teams to achieve optimal effectiveness and productivity.
Implement effective change management techniques and lead the continuous improvement of services and functions.
Develop, implement and advise on strategic issues and improvements to TasWater’s customer service capability.
Your application must clearly demonstrate how you meet the following criteria:
Degree in relevant discipline such as Management, Engineering, Business, or Project Management, or equivalent competence.
Substantial experience managing centralised support operations such as operations control centres.
Substantial experience managing teams who are performing diverse functions.
Substantial experience leading change management and continuous improvement processes.
High level leadership skills with proven ability to inspire, coach and mentor others.
Excellent skills with financial and budget management
Experience promoting, implementing and developing strategic initiatives
Good skills and understanding of relevant computer systems and software including MS Office, SCADA, and asset information databases.
