Purpose of the Role
Based in Chinchilla OR Miles, you will ensure the provision of safe water and wastewater supplies for the community by meeting statutory requirements for performance, safety and environmental managements, and delivering high standards of customer service.
Reporting to the Utilities Manager, you will:
Be accountable for ensuring compliance in the day to day operation, maintenance and monitoring of water treatment plants, wastewater treatment plants, desalination plants and associated infrastructure;
Have extensive knowledge of water and sewerage networks and processes;
Hold a Certificate III in Water Operations or Wastewater Operations;
Have prior experience in leading the safety and performance culture within a team; and
Have strong written, verbal and analytical skill sets with experience in using Microsoft Office Suite and spreadsheets.
