The Opportunity

Based in Rocherlea, you will manage customer-focussed water, sewerage and network operations teams towards the achievement of customer, compliance, technical, and safety objectives. You will positively shape team culture and success, and drive consistency of practice with other divisional teams.

This is a permanent full time position that will manage teams in the Launceston area. Flexible hours (we'd like you available for our daily 8am review meetings, but can be flexible outside of this) and hybrid work arrangements are available. The position attracts a total remuneration package of $129 - 147K per annum (including superannuation).

Key Accountabilities

·        Positively shape team culture and success through the modelling of desired behaviours, and lead the team through change and culture transformation initiatives.

·        Support the Operations Manager to ensure the effective planning, scheduling, execution and reporting of operational and maintenance strategies.

·        Monitor and manage processes and infrastructure with a focus on customer service, process optimisation, safety and compliance.

·        Monitor and manage people within the team including employees and contractors so that the skills and coverage is available to effectively operate and maintain our assets.

·        Problem solve and provide professional advice to team and others on best practice in operational service delivery.
