Due to the ongoing success of our growing water resources team, we are currently seeking an experienced hydrogeologist to play a key role in the winning and execution of projects for a wide range of industrial and government clients.
As a member of a busy hydrogeology team in Perth, this position offers excellent variety of work and will see you involved in:
⦁ Supporting the winning and delivery of projects for the planning and execution of hydrogeological investigation and assessments ⦁ A variety of small to medium sized projects that the team is delivering, as well as working within a globally connected multidisciplinary team on major projects ⦁ Supporting and managing the delivery of high quality field investigations, data management and technical reporting ⦁ Investigation and report writing, preparation of proposals and bids for projects ⦁ Demonstrating your industry knowledge and experience to develop and maintain client relationships ⦁ Developing your skills working closely with experienced professionals on a range of projects ⦁ Mentoring more junior members of the Hydrogeology Team
What you will bring to the team
⦁ Technical skills in groundwater investigations, hydrogeological conceptualisation, groundwater impact assessments and resource evaluation ⦁ Hands-on experience with GIS software and spatial data analysis ⦁ An understanding of or experience in numerical model development, including data collation, processing and interpretation, realistic conceptualisation, model construction, calibration and operation ⦁ Experience in supporting key aspects of project management and administration, as well as subcontractor and HSE management ⦁ Demonstrated proficiency in report writing in a variety of formats for a range of clients/sectors ⦁ Passion for technical excellence, diligence and client service ⦁ Proficient written and verbal skills, with the ability to communicate complex issues concisely ⦁ Relevant tertiary qualification in hydrogeology or related subjects ⦁ Over 2 years hydrogeological experience, with over 8 years required for the Senior role
