Water Engineer

We are seeking Water Engineers with water infrastructure or broader civil design experience to be based in our Water team in Newcastle.

You'll work as part of our experienced team on ambitious and interesting local projects, allowing you a balance of technical work, project management, construction phase involvement, operation support, business development and client engagement.

While working with region's unique water resources, you'll also have access to the wider professional development and multi-disciplinary opportunities offered by a leading global consultancy.

We have a long-standing relationship with the water sector, municipal councils, state government and broader industry, and we strive to understand and deliver on our clients' needs for improved community outcomes.

This role can be appointed on either a full time or part time basis.

This diverse and exciting position will see you involved in:

• Producing design drawings, reports and technical documents for water infrastructure projects that includes pipelines, sewers, storages, pump stations, water and wastewater treatment plants
• Supporting water and broader industrial planning projects
• Joining a committed, multi-disciplinary group, eager to contribute to significant projects for the region and further afield

What you will bring to the team:

• Between 5 and 10 years of experience in a civil engineering role that includes water infrastructure
• Civil and hydraulic design skills in water infrastructure
• Experience in producing and reviewing design reports, specifications and tender documentation
• Experience in managing or supporting water projects
• Experience in the development of engineering drawings
• Experience in the use of civil and hydraulic design software
