The Opportunity

Our Water Systems Performance Team implement TasWater's strategies and risk management plans for drinking water across the state.  You will champion water quality through working across the organisation to prioritise and communicate risk, drive education and awareness of water quality, and build key processes to guide what we do.

This is a permanent full-time position with flexible start and finish times and hybrid work options The position attracts a total remuneration package of $112 - 126K per annum (including superannuation) and can be based from Hobart, Launceston or Devonport.

Key Accountabilities

  • Actively contribute to the development of drinking water quality awareness
  • Take the lead in water quality investigations and drive the required mitigations, lessons learnt and improvements.
  • Manage compliance requirements for drinking water management.
  • Identify and implement process improvement opportunities.
  • Be the primary contact for technical advice regarding drinking water quality.
