Veolia ANZ has a fantastic opportunity for a Water Treatment Operator to join our team based in Amberley 4306 and Carrara 4211. As the Water Treatment Operator, you will be responsible for sampling, daily operation and maintenance tasks across several water treatment plants. Travel between Amberley and Carrara is required for this role.

What you'll be responsible for
The safe and efficient operation of the water treatment plants, complying with OHS requirements.
Understand all process, maintenance and operational issues occurring on a day-to-day basis.
Perform routine work orders, preventive maintenance and breakdown tasks as directed.
Monitor plant operations and assist in plant optimisation.
Undertake sample collection and laboratory analysis.
Undertake process troubleshooting and problem solving whilst identifying process improvements.
Contributing to a safety first and continuous improvement culture.
What you'll need to be successful
Experience in water treatment operations preferred (or currently studying related engineering field with site experience)
Knowledge and understanding of mechanical and electrical equipment.
Ability to work independently and unsupervised.
