About the role

The primary role of the Planning Manager is to manage the Planning & Scheduling capability for the OM and FM Contract Services and provide data analytics through their team: 

  • The effective planning and scheduling of Work Orders co-ordinated with materials and contract services is essential to achieve contract performance targets and keep Sydney Water’s assets functioning
  • The effective generation of timely and effective business data reporting enables all management teams to assure successful delivery of all services. 

This involves leading, organising and providing clear direction to employees in a manner that allows Ventia the capability and flexibility to be innovative, solutions focused to deliver contract KPI’s and reduce cost with high level of customer service.

You'll be highly influential in the contract and we're looking for someone with a strong drive for results, and an opportunity to grow in the business. 

Consistency and strong leadership across all key business areas including people management; operations, SHEQ and Administration is essential to the success of the role.

About you

The successful candidate will have previous experience in a similar role with a

  • Minimum of 5 years’ Degree in associated discipline (preferred) or equivalent experience
  • Managing professional teams in a planning and scheduling function
  • Budget Management
  • Planning and Work Order Management
  • Data Analytics and Reporting

In order to deliver on the requirements of the role, you will be a strong, positive leader with the ability to build a strong team environment who can communicate effectively at all levels with both internal & external stakeholders and is not afraid to take on tough tasks through to delivery.
