As Graduate Engineer – Development your skills will help to investigate technical issues in relation to development and planning of the Council Water Supply and Sewerage Systems. You will also provide support to the Engineer - Planning and Systems with developing and maintaining water and sewerage growth related strategic programs.
Council is seeking to recruit a Graduate Engineer on a full-time basis for a maximum-term up to 27 December 2019. The position would be suitable for recent graduates with a Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) degree; however additional experience with Water Supply and Sewerage for residential development would be an advantage.
Competence in written reporting and verbal communication in plain colloquial English is required as the research and liaison components of the position may involve regular interaction with consultants, contractors, other staff and the public.

We are seeking:
Bachelor of Civil Engineering.
Demonstrated sound level of competence/knowledge in Local government engineering infrastructure, in particular water supply and sewerage conveyancing and reticulation systems.
Where it's located:
This position is based in Tweed Heads, and can be directed to work from any Council work site.
