We have just launched some student travel grants to attend the Biosolids National Conference in Brisbane in February 2019. The grants will cover flights, accommodation and registration fees for 3 – 4 students.
The Travel Grants will be awarded to students whose work aligns with objectives of the Australian and New Zealand Biosolids Project (ANZBP) and which furthers the legacy of Paul Darvodelsky in progressing open and applied research knowledge for sustainable biosolids management. Applicants for the scholarships must be postgraduate research (Master or PhD) students enrolled in a biosolids related field at an Australian or New Zealand University and must be Australian or New Zealand domestic students. It is expected that scholarship recipients will usually be students enrolled full-time. Part-time students who wish to apply for the scholarship are asked to provide an extra statement as to their outside work status. Students in paid employment more than 20 hours per week are not eligible for this opportunity.
