Description

East Gippsland Water (EGW) serves an area of 21,000 square kilometres in the far south east of Victoria, which boasts some of Australia's most diverse and spectacular scenery.

The East Gippsland Region is an idyllic lifestyle location that is close to national parks, lakes, rivers and coastal regions. From the beach to the snow and everything in between, the region includes the iconic Gippsland Lakes, Alpine High Country, Snowy River and Coastal Wilderness areas. The region has a population of around 45,000 people, with water services provided to 25,700 customers and wastewater services provided to around 21,900 customers.

An exciting opportunity is available for a motivated individual to join our Operations Team. This is a full-time ongoing role that will be based at various locations around the Bairnsdale region.

The Treatment Operator will be responsible for undertaking day to day operations and maintenance activities at a number of water and wastewater treatment and disinfection plants servicing East Gippsland Water.
