The position is integral in ensuring we provide exceptional services to the development industry and activities across the Melbourne CBD and the growing west.
Reporting directly to the General Manager, Infrastructure and Delivery, you will lead and enhance City West Water services, creating a digitally enabled and customer-first technical environment. Your approach will enable a culture that places customers first, focuses on high performance and fosters development. As a senior and influential leader in the business and you will take on group wide leadership responsibilities, including a focus on safety leadership.
The role operates in a fast paced and collaborative team environment, and is responsible for exceptional services to customers across development types including the effective delivery of urban development assets for City West Water’s customers.
What you’ll bring to the role
Experience in driving a high performance culture and inspiring a “can do” attitude in others
Safety leadership and role modelling
Experience in leading change and continuous improvement in a dynamic customer-first, digitally enabled and technical environment (across culture, capability, processes, systems)
Understanding of drivers, challenges, opportunities, policies and processes relevant for urban development activities
Experience in developing opportunities to enhance customer service and relationships, and collaborating internally and externally for improved community and organisational outcomes
Anility to establish strategic relationships with key stakeholders and groups as developers, consultants, contractors, plumbers, building industry, water industry, councils, peak bodies and government stakeholders and the community.
