About the role:
We are seeking a passionate WHS professional who will through this leading role drive important change towards a ‘Zero Harm’ workplace culture. You will primarily work on high risk projects, contributing to the maintenance of a safe work environment using a range of tools and processes.
You will assist with promoting a safe workplace by identifying, controlling and monitoring risks. You will ensure safety messages are communicated across the business by coaching and mentoring leaders, employees and contractors as part of Unitywater’s journey towards improved safety performance.
To contribute to Unitywater’s values of Reliability, Safety, Honesty& Integrity, Efficiency, One Team, Innovation, you will demonstrate the following skills and qualities for the role:
OHS Diploma / Advance Diploma (VET).
Formal qualification in ICAM or other safety investigation methodologies.
Experience in behaviour based safety programs.
Experience in a high-risk industry - electrical background would be advantageous.
High level problem solving, data analysis, project management and reporting skills;
Strong understanding of cultural change management;
Demonstrated stakeholder management and relationship building skills;C Class Driver Licence.
