About the role:

This role will work between our two main office locations in both Maroochydore and Caboolture. As the Asset Lifecycle Manager, you will lead a team of eight asset management specialists. You will focus on managing an asset renewals program, a condition assessment program and an annual planned maintenance program. Working in close collaboration with teams across Unitywater, you will ensure asset performance meets our customers’ current and future expectations, whilst the assets continue to deliver sustainable ‘value for money’ outcomes for the business.

About you:

To contribute to Unitywater’s values of Reliability, Safety, Honesty & Integrity, Efficiency, One Team, Innovation, you will demonstrate the following skills and qualities for the role:

  • Tertiary engineering qualifications or similar, coupled with demonstrated experience in an asset intensive organisation.
  • Extensive experience in the development of asset intervention plans (maintenance, renewal and replacement), translating strategy to execution and managing the balance between risk, cost and performance.
  • Significant experience and exposure with the delivery of maintenance programs, configuration of maintenance management systems and optimisation techniques.
  • Highly developed leadership and communication skills with ability to lead and direct a technical function that interfaces with other business critical functions.
  • C Class driver’s license.
