Due to our continued growth and in line with our new Infrastructure Strategy and particularly in water infrastructure, we are looking for a motivated Professional Process Engineer with 3+ years’ experience to join our team in Melbourne.

Job Description

About the Role:

  • Design of minor and major wastewater treatment plants and other related infrastructure, liaising with project team members, clients and stakeholders as necessary

  • Undertake wastewater modelling using BioWin or similar software

  • Contribute to preparation of documentation for design, tendering or construction purposes

  • Contribute to client reports and deliverables

  • Provide assistance and input to tenders/proposals, as necessary

  • Provide assistance and inputs in regards to the implementation and delivery of the business strategy

  • Contribute to the Spiire Integrated Management System (SIMS), in particular the design/delivery procedures

  • Contribute to the relevant Practice Area (PAs) forums, to further enhance staff development and share knowledge/learnings

About You:

  • Relevant degree in Chemical, Environmental or Civil Engineering. Other post-graduate qualifications desirable (not essential)

  • Experience in wastewater treatment (essential)

  • Experience with process simulation software eg; BioWin (essential)

  • Experience in consulting, working for water authorities and other Government authorities with an interest in design and construction

  • Innovative, creative and forward thinking
