Due to our continued growth, increased project portfolio and in line with our Water Infrastructure Strategy, we are looking for anAssociate Civil Engineer (Water Infrastructure) with approximately 8+ years’ experienceto join theWater Infrastructure TeaminMelbourne.
About the role
Working with an experienced team of likeminded professionals, you will play a key role in the delivery of water and wastewater infrastructure for a broad range of clients. Specifically, the role will require you to:
Lead the design of water and wastewater infrastructure projects, including pipelines, pumping stations, treatment facilities and storages
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, specialist design resources, and sub-consultants
Prepare documentation for design, tendering and construction purposes including calculations, technical reports, costs estimates and specifications
Support Spiire’s business development goals though the preparation of tenders/proposals and through your engagement with clients
Have knowledge/experience of Autodesk products including AutoCad, Civil 3D, Plant 3D and 12D
Contribute to the relevant Practice Area (PAs) forums, to further enhance staff development and share knowledge/learnings
Review designs and documentation
Relevant degree in Civil Engineering. Other post-graduate qualifications desirable (not essential)
Proven experience in water and wastewater infrastructure design and project delivery
Excellent communication skills
Experience in Consulting
Project management experience
Innovative, creative and forward thinking
Passionate about helping to grow the team/business in the water/wastewater infrastructure sector
