About the opportunityDue to continued growth and development of our Water and Wastewater team, we currently have an immediate requirement for an experienced civil drafter to be located at one of our eastern suburbs client offices. In this role you will gain exposure to a wide range of water projects such as sewers, water mains, treatment plants and pump stations and work with a highly experienced and dedicated team. The primary focus of the role is to deliver water engineering projects to meet client needs and enhance our ability to win future work. Reporting to the Section Leader – Water and wastewater, you will work under the direction of project managers, team leaders and lead draftsperson and participate in all phases of project delivery.About youAs a drafter you will have previous experience in being responsible for producing accurate and efficient documentation. We’re looking for someone with an eye for detail who can create innovative designs and deliver drawings to the highest standard. It is expected that you have:
Advanced Diploma of Engineering (highly regarded though not essential)
Experience as a civil drafter delivering a variety of water and wastewater infrastructure projects
Good competency using MicroStation, AutoCAD and Civil 3D
Experience in drawing and model management using ProjectWise
Demonstrated strong work ethic, responsive attitude, professional rigour and ability to ensure projects are delivered on time and to budget and program.
