About the opportunity
Reporting to the Section Lead – Water Resources, you will be a key member of our Water Resources team based in Brisbane. You will be responsible for the delivery of water resources projects in the areas of Transportation, Water and/or Mining, Oil & Gas – all areas where we have a significant existing and forward pipeline of work.
You will typically lead delivery of water resources packages and projects such as:
- Flooding assessments and design for major infrastructure projects
- Dam hydrology, dambreak and consequence assessments
- Water resources, development and feasibility studies
You will be responsible for management of task and package delivery and oversight of inputs by junior technical staff and cross-discipline inputs.
About you
Essential Skills and Qualifications required for the role:
- Relevant Engineering Degree
- RPEQ accreditation
- Intermediate to senior level experience in flood modelling for the design of major infrastructure, particularly linear infrastructure, including:
- Hydrologic modelling (RAFTS, WBNM, URBS, and/or RORB)
- Hydraulic modelling including 2D modelling (TUFLOW and/or MIKE-21)
- Experience in project, package or task management
- Ideally bring practical experience delivering packages of work within Queensland on infrastructure projects
- Experience in scour assessment would also be well regarded
