Due to the continued success of our Australian operations, we currently have an exciting opportunity for Experienced/Senior Structural Engineers to work within our Brisbane Water teams.

The Opportunity

  • Prepare concise technical calculations, quality technical reports, and engineering drawings
  • Undertaken design reviews
  • Undertake safety in design reviews
  • Design or project management of small projects or discrete work packages
  • Assist in managing project communications, project integration and preparing the costing of proposals
  • Carry out structural inspections of new and existing infrastructure

What we'll love about you

  • Have a Bachelor of Engineering Degree.
  • 5 to 10 years’ experience as a civil/structural engineer, ideally with experience in the water industry.
  • Will preferably have worked on major water infrastructure projects in South East Queensland
  • Have demonstrated experience in the design of structures, reinforced concrete, structural steel, and structural inspections.
  • Be technically competent with reinforced concrete and steel design to Australian Standards including AS3735.
  • Ideally, be Chartered and RPEQ qualified, or well advanced in working towards this 
  • Practical experience using Microstran, Spacegass, and Strand 7.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively.
