About the Position
The Executive Coordinator Regulation and Investment is responsible for leading a team of diverse finance and business management professionals that manage and monitor the financial prudency and business efficiency of investments.
The position is primarily accountable for ensuring our water, sewerage and waste services are priced to reflect regulatory and legislative requirements.
Key Deliverables of the position:
Manage the economic modelling process and pricing strategy, including relevant procedures and processes.
Develop regulatory and legislative compliant pricing strategies for the provision of water, sewerage and solid waste related services to customers.
Manage the collection of relevant data or information pertinent to the directorate’s internal and external reporting requirements.
Undertake financial, economic and regulatory analysis to identify business risk and provide viable solutions to mitigate potential future impacts on the business.
Influence change in the regulatory environment by ensuring the City’s position on regulatory strategy and reporting are represented and incorporated in major policy and regulatory decisions.
Manage the implementation and continuous improvement in processes and systems relevant to the team.

Competitive Executive Remuneration plus up to 12% Superannuation.
Please note that this is an Executive Contract Position and the hours of work are reflective to meet Executive duties/obligations.
