About the role: In this rare and exciting opportunity, you will provide specialist expertise and guide a small team of bright and innovative Advisors. You will be responsible for providing expert technical advice to a wide range of stakeholders relating to key developments and challenges within the Drinking Water and Recycled Water Quality speciality. You will take a lead role in shaping an online water monitoring strategy and play a key role with ensuring compliance with our water quality protocols, ISO22000 and Australian Drinking Water Guidelines. You will work across our Morayfield and Maroochydore locations with flexibility, and be part of a team that is contributing to keeping our community healthier.
About you: To contribute to Unitywater’s values ofReliability,Safety,Honesty& Integrity,Efficiency,One Team,Innovation, you will demonstrate the following skills and qualities for the role:
Bachelor’s Degree in engineering or science related discipline with a major in chemistry or microbiology as applied to drinking water quality.
Extensive experience working within the Utilities industry together with drinking water quality expertise is essential.
HACCP training is preferred, or willingness to undertake.
Eligibility to be a member of Engineers Australia or Royal Australian Chemical Institute. AWA and/or other relevant professional bodies.
C Class Driver’s License.
