The Role:
 
DCE is seeking an experienced Drainage Engineer with hydraulic and water experience to join their Integrated Water Management (IWM) team.  This role will contribute to various projects as part of the IWM team, preparing concept and functional designs for stormwater management and treatment as well as mentoring and teaching junior team members.
 
Key Responsibilities:

  • Undertaking flood modelling and report writing & documentation
  • Providing internal feedback to engineers and project managers
  • Providing technical advice in terms of flood modelling
  • Supporting and mentoring junior team members
  • Providing informal input in fee proposals as required

Selection Criteria:

  • Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) or Diploma in Engineering
  • 2-3 years’ experience undertaking stormwater modelling
  • Experience with Tuflow is essential
