About the role:
The Private Works Manager operates across our service region, Sunshine Coast and Moreton Bay. In this role you will provide leadership to our teams and contractors undertaking construction and renewals activities on water and wastewater infrastructure for internal and external customers.

You will ensure a safe and engaged workforce, fostering on a ‘zero harm’ safety culture. Applying your commercial acumen experience you will identify and execute opportunities to improve budget performance focusing on productivity. Putting to use your technical expertise, you will ensure the delivery of quality standards and workplace efficiencies for the customers of Unitywater.
  
About you:
To contribute to Unitywater’s values of Reliability, Safety, Honesty & Integrity, Efficiency, One Team, Innovation, you will demonstrate the following skills and qualities for the role:

• Demonstrated extensive experience in Civil Engineering Projects.
• Demonstrated extensive experience in leading large construction teams.
• An understanding of water supply, sewerage and recycled water operation and maintenance activities.
• Demonstrated commercial acumen experience with budgets in excess of $1 million.
• Strong interpersonal skills, building and maintaining relationships, negotiation, and conflict resolution.
• Strong written communication for reporting and correspondence.
• C Class Driver License.
