About the role
We have an exciting ongoing opportunity for an experienced and innovative individual to take on a Coordinator role within our Capital & Service Delivery Team. Based primarily at our Bairnsdale office, the Coordinator Reuse & Trade Waste Systems will be responsible for taking a lead role in Reuse Management, particularly recycled wastewater storage and application, third party agreements, and Major Trade Waste compliance initiatives.
The role is responsible for providing quality advice and recommendations to senior management and other staff in process and policy development, as well as working cohesively with the Treatment and Operations & Maintenance teams to achieve desired outcomes. The position will be responsible for ensuring that the organisations’ Environmental Management Systems (EMS) are imbedded into both reuse and major trade waste activities.
Availability for occasional after hours on-call work and a full Australian drivers licence is a requirement of this role.
We are looking for a team member with a particular knowledge in reclaimed water reuse, irrigation and farm/land management. This position requires an in-depth knowledge of trade waste treatment and disposal, together with comprehensive knowledge of science/engineering principles of water and wastewater treatment, water recycling and reuse applications.
You will need the confidence to communicate effectively with external and internal stakeholders, as well as a high level of research and analytical skills and the ability to exercise judgement, prepare reports and communicate advice and findings at all levels across the organisation,
