Bring your talents to the Central Queensland coast and partner with an award-winning Local Government as a Team Leader - Water and Sewerage Network Operations in a full-time permanent capacity.

The Role:

Lead a team to manage the operational requirements of MRC water and sewer assets to meet legislative requirements in the Corporate Plan. Provide leadership to the team, supply prompt and effective attention to the operations of water and sewerage network and foster and promote an effective, efficient and safe work environment within the area of responsibility.

Essential Qualifications, Experience & Skills:

  • Demonstrated experience in the water industry with competence in the operations, maintenance of water and sewerage assets.
  • Demonstrated experience in operation and interpretation of SCADA systems.
  • Demonstrated experience in the effective leadership of staff that results in a productive team working environment.
  • Ability to fault-find, analyse and implement solutions for rectification works relating to water and sewerage mechanical and electrical equipment and associated asset components.
  • QLD "C" Class Driver's
