We are seeking a Senior Technical Officer to provide technical support, assistance and advice to ensure the provision of quality water and sewer services across the Eurobodalla.
In this role you will coordinate the duties of the water and sewer technical team. Duties include carrying out investigations, preparing and reviewing concept plans for water and sewer construction works, liaising with and advising builders, developers, engineers and the community on water and sewer policies, standards and practices, and monitor and report on project expenditures.
To be successful in this role you will have qualifications in a Civil or Environmental Engineering capacity, demonstrated experience in investigation and design of water supply and sewerage systems, an understanding of the role of Local Government engineers, and sound computer skills.

Ideally, we are seeking a highly experienced senior for this role, however, candidates with lesser experience will be considered. The salary and benefits for this role will be commensurate with the level of experience.
This is a full time 35 hour per week position with total remuneration in the range $1,536.69 to $1,820.94 gross per week consisting of:
$1,403.37 to $1,662.96 base salary, plus
$133.32 to $157.98 superannuation (at 9.5%)
A fully maintained Council vehicle for to/from home use is available with this position for the senior level.
