Your next career move:

At KBR, we are looking for the right person to deliver, develop and lead our growing Water Discipline team.   As the Discipline Manager (DM) in our Water team you’ll be asked to wear a number of hats from resource manager to people manager to safety leader and be a mentor to your team and peers.  Not only that but you’ll also be driving efficiencies, continuous improvement actions and innovation.

Day to day you can expect to play an integral role in ensuring that project workforce requirements (current and future) are met whilst ensuring that each employee is developed and appropriately challenged dependent on level.  In essence your role will be to guide the team in the delivery of projects in the water industry. That longer term focus is to create a collaborative, productive and delivery focused culture with clear career pathways.

What can you offer KBR?

To be a success, you’ll need to understand the complexities of working in an engineering/project environment and the importance of building professional relationships to readily influence and gain creditability.   Balancing that whilst bringing your wealth of experience of developing and supporting a large team will be incredibly important from day one.

The customers from the DM’s perspective not only include our clients, but also our internal Bid, Markets and Project teams.  So being customer centric and the ability to plan for success and quality delivery is crucial in ensuring that KBR remains to be seen as a leading Engineering Design House.  Being an experienced engineer (by trade) that has spent majority of their career in the water industry, you'll be able to develop and coach the team and answer their technical questions.

So who’s KBR?

KBR offers a wide range of professional consulting services to private and public sector clients to deliver projects of any size in both urban and remote environments. We are technically and geographically diversified to match the characteristics of our principal markets and have the capability to service our clients' requirements across all phase of project development and delivery.
