Solid time management and organisation skills will allow you to crush strict deadlines and your experience in systems, in particular, Microsoft Dynamics D365 will add significant value and input to assist the team to enhance customer service and achieve outstanding results
About your new role...
Reporting to the Financial Accountant your focus will be on supporting the Finance team across asset accounting and financial accounting functions
This support will include general accounting and reporting in relation to assets including acquisition, project creating and project closures, depreciation and disposals.
Your keen eye for detail will see you assisting with the development of annual financial statements and reconciliations to ensure that GVW meets its reporting obligations.
The position will be based at the Administration Building in Fryers Street – in Shepparton’s CBD Hub. Here you can take a break from figures by popping into the precinct for your morning drink of choice.
You will have the ability to work flexibly, in line with GVW’s flexible working policy.
This fixed term position will allow you to flex your accounting muscle, and be exposed to a Corporate setting in this essential services industry
About you... To be considered for this role you must have demonstrated the following;
*Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or a relevant field *CPA of CA professional membership (or currently undertaking) *Minimum 5 years suitable experience in a similar role *Experience using Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations (highly desirable) *Proven ability to engage collaboratively, influence and negotiate with a range of stakeholders *Strong interpersonal skills *Strong written and verbal communication skills across all levels *Possess a drive to succeed *Ability to work autonomously, high standard of accuracy and manage your time effectively *Get a buzz out of problem solving and thrive in a fast paced environment *Beyond passionate about providing a positive customer experience *High level computer, administrative and report writing skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite *Strong OHS commitment and focus *A current motor vehicle licence is essential
