We are looking for a team player with keen interest in developing and managing key client relationships.  Directing technical performance on all projects, you will also be responsible for working on a wide variety of projects encompassing primary, secondary and tertiary wastewater treatment, odour control and biosolids management. In addition, you will be leading and carrying out wastewater treatment process planning and design projects.  With a 5-15 years’ experience and holding a recognised tertiary qualification in Chemical Engineering (or equivalent process engineering degree), you will have a strong focus on customer service and understanding client needs, with superior technical skills in the key areas of process engineering. You will be working with our wastewater treatment team, both leading and carrying out a variety of wastewater treatment projects, principally in the areas of wastewater treatment planning, concept and detailed design. Your highly developed communication skills, both oral and written, open communication style and strong team development skills are essential in this role. You will also have strong leadership/coaching skills and the ability to influence others, whilst being able to direct several jobs at once and determine priorities.  Criteria to be successful in this role are : Relevant tertiary qualifications and 5-15 years’ relevant experience. Proven experience and a sound understanding of current wastewater treatment and effluent recycling technologies. Ability to develop and manage key client relationships with major water utilities. Developing and managing key client relationships will be an essential skill. Strong network throughout the water sector and experience in a multi-disciplinary team environment. Ability to work with contractors, clients and project personnel to achieve project outcomes and deadlines. Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with internal and external clients in order to win initial and repeat work. Willingness to work with colleagues across GHD’s Australian wastewater treatment business, in order to ensure the needs of our major Clients are met. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Experience in Biowin™ modelling is considered essential for the role. Operational experience is not considered essential but will be highly regarded. It is a national not-for-profit association, governed by a Board of Directors and a Committee elected by Association members. We are seeking a competent, passionate and energetic individual to provide technical input and expertise across a range of Association activities. The role reports to the Chief Operations Officer. A main objective of the position is to maintain and build on the present activities and Member services in order to achieve WIOA’s constituted objectives and meet the Association’s strategic vision, mission and goals. Key responsibilities Assist with the organisation and management of existing and new Member services and events. This will include printed material in the journal and newsletters; operational resource materials; conference and seminar programs; Interest Days; and the website. Assist with the development and implementation of WIOA’s Operator Certification Scheme and Continuing Professional Development processes. Take an active role in assisting to determine the needs and requirements of Members. Within the budget and strategic plan, develop and provide services and events to meet the identified needs.
