The Opportunity You will lead the development of our Asset Management System to ensure the consistent management of water and sewerage network assets. This position provides a dynamic environment that balances long term improvements related to strategic planning and overseeing the asset management system, with the short term needs of water supply security and capital works program planning. There is an opportunity to see real progress through identifying customer needs at the front end of the project lifecycle, and interacting with the new TasWater Capital Delivery Office to see the delivery of infrastructure and the corresponding customer benefit. This position can be located in Hobart, Launceston or Devonport. Key Accountabilities Lead the development and maintenance of the Asset Management System. Develop asset management techniques for determining asset strategy for water, wastewater, network, treatment plant, pumping, and storage assets. Lead the development of Growth and Capacity Plans. Develop the consolidated 10 year Asset Management Plan. Develop asset strategies to deliver the outcomes in the Corporate Plan. Champion and role model the TasWater Values and Behaviours while proactively working to develop a positive culture in the team and the wider business.   Your Application Your application must clearly demonstrate how you meet the selection criteria in the Position Description, summarised as follows:   Tertiary qualifications in Engineering or equivalent competency. Demonstrated experience in developing asset management frameworks and systems (eg. ISO 55000 series or similar). Significant practical experience in developing asset management plans and asset strategies, preferably in the water industry.
