The office has been recently refurbished and is adjacent to extensive park land for lunchtime recreation, a free tennis court and membership-based gymnasium on site. A wide range of cafes and after work venues are close by. Key Responsibilities Work on the feasibility, concept, functional , and detailed design and documentation phases of water/wastewater projects (pipelines, pump stations, reservoirs, treatment plants, networks) Perform a “Project Manager” role on small to medium sized projects Manage bids for prospective projects Support junior engineers, designers and drafters in the preparation of models, designs drawings and documentation Work in a close team context with mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and structural engineers to successfully deliver project outcomes to the highest standards Build strong relationships with key clients and identify/develop business opportunities Promote and practice KBR’s Zero Harm policy Qualifications & Experience Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) 7-12 years experience within the water sector typically in consulting on investigations and designs for capital projects Some site based experience would be highly regarded A natural ability to build and develop client relationships Experience preparing tender documentation and proposal bids Experience and success with business development and marketing activities will be highly regarded What we do KBR’s Infrastructure Services Australia business offers a wide range of professional consulting services to private and public sector clients to deliver projects of any size in both urban and remote environments in transport, water and environment, buildings, defence infrastructure and program management consultancy.
